Annotated Checklist of Indian Elasmus (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea : Eulophidae) with a New Synonymy

Abstract

Here we present an annotated checklist of Elasmus from Indian region. The list is based on published literature and survey collection under state fauna series of zoological survey of India. It comprises total of 58 species of Elasmus Westwood, 1833 is given together with the Indian records in different states and Union territory of India. Besides the original combination, citation of the original description and type locality of each species is presented. Elasmus nigricoxa Prakash and Verma is probably a junior synonym of Elasmus punensis Mani and Saraswat.
