New records of the Stratiomyidae (Diptera) from Ordu and Hatay Provinces in Turkey

Abstract

Stratiomyidae species of Turkey are reported in the study. Beris schaposchnikowi Pleske, 1926 and Pachygaster leachii (Curtis, 1924) are recorded for the first time for Turkish Fauna. Pachygaster atra (Panzer, 1798) were found for the first time Ordu province and Chloromyia formosa (Scopoli, 1763) were found for the first time Ordu and Hatay provinces in Turkey. All species are photographed. The distribution of these species is briefly discussed.
